1. Who we are

Mojav Technologies LLC ("Mojav," "we," "us") is a United States business-to-business company. We license consumer inquiry records and provision outbound dialer access to licensed insurance agencies and telesales teams. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with our store and services.

This policy covers information about our own visitors, prospective customers, and customers. It does not govern how our client agencies handle records after we license them; those agencies are independent controllers and publish their own policies.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details — your name, agency name, work email address, and mobile telephone number, submitted through a form on our store or given to us by phone or email.
  • Account and order information — the products you purchase, order history, billing contact, and the states you tell us you are licensed in so we can scope your delivery or queues correctly.
  • Support correspondence — the content of emails, text messages, and replacement requests you send us.
  • Consent records — if you check the SMS consent box, we record that you checked it, the date and time, the page you were on, the exact disclosure language displayed to you, and the submission's IP address. We keep this so we can demonstrate that consent was given.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps, through standard server logs and analytics.

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, government ID numbers, health information, precise geolocation, or biometric data. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are not stored on our systems.

3. How we use it

  • To respond to your request for access, pricing, or information.
  • To fulfill, support, and bill your orders.
  • To send the order, delivery, renewal, and support messages described in section 4, if you have consented.
  • To keep records showing how and when you consented to be contacted.
  • To secure our systems, detect misuse, and prevent fraud.
  • To meet our legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your personal information to train machine learning models and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

4. Mobile numbers and SMS

If you check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, we use your mobile number to send you order, delivery, account, and support messages. Message frequency varies, up to 6 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to be removed, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing anything from Mojav.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text messaging services themselves, who process the messages on our behalf and are contractually prohibited from using the data for any other purpose.

If you reply STOP, we retain your number on an internal suppression list for the sole purpose of ensuring we do not message you again. A suppression entry is used for nothing else.

5. Two separate data streams

Because we both operate a messaging program and license consumer records as a product, we want to be precise about the boundary between the two. They never mix.

Stream A — information about you, our customer

Everything described in section 2. This is personal information about the businesses and people who visit our store and buy from us. It is used only as described in section 3. It is never sold, never licensed, and never included in any data product we offer. Your mobile number lives here.

Stream B — consumer records we license to clients

Separately, Mojav licenses consumer inquiry records to client insurance agencies as a business data product. These records originate from third-party providers who represent that they collected the information with the consumer's consent under a disclosure permitting transfer to insurance providers and their partners. Before delivery we scrub these records against the federal Do Not Call Registry, applicable state registries, and internal suppression lists.

Records in Stream B are not added to our messaging program, and Mojav does not send text messages to them. Our SMS subscriber list is built exclusively from Stream A consent captured on our own forms.

If you believe your information appears in a record we have licensed and you want it suppressed, email info@mojavtechnologiesllc.com with the phone number or email address in question. We will add it to our suppression list, stop including it in future deliveries, and pass the request upstream to the originating provider.

6. When we disclose information

We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only in these situations:

  • Service providers. Vendors who run parts of our operation — messaging and telecommunications providers, email delivery, hosting and e-commerce platform, payment processing, and accounting. They receive only what they need, are bound by contract, and may not use the information for their own purposes.
  • Legal requirements. Where required by law, subpoena, court order, or lawful request from a government or regulatory authority.
  • Protection of rights. Where necessary to investigate suspected fraud or misuse, or to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
  • Business transfer. If Mojav is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. Mobile numbers and SMS consent records carry their original consent scope and restrictions with them.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our store uses cookies for basic function, cart persistence, and aggregate traffic measurement. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; checkout requires cookies to function.

8. Retention

We keep contact and order information for as long as you are a customer and then for the period required by tax and accounting rules. We keep SMS consent records for at least four years after consent is given or withdrawn. Suppression list entries are kept indefinitely, because deleting them would defeat their purpose. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then discarded.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access limited to staff who need the data to do their jobs, and multi-factor authentication on administrative systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Your choices and rights

  • Stop text messages. Reply STOP to any message, or email or call us.
  • Access or correct. Ask what we hold about you and have it corrected.
  • Delete. Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law and to suppression entries kept so we do not contact you again.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so there is nothing to opt out of. You may still submit a request and we will confirm this in writing.
  • Non-discrimination. We will not degrade your service or change your pricing because you exercised a privacy right.

To make a request, email info@mojavtechnologiesllc.com. We may need to verify your identity first. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need longer.

11. Children

Our products are sold to businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold about you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
